Marth was standing alone in a desolate area, surrounded by nothing but dark mist. He couldn't see nothing for miles, but then his eyes landed on Link standing two feet away from him. He reached out to grab him, but suddenly, hands were put on Link's chest and mouth from behind. The hands pulled Link even farther into the darkness.

Marth tried to save Link but his whole body was paralyzed, he couldn't move all he could do was watch while Link was pulled to the darkness. "He iS MiNe AnD oNlY mInE." A voice echoed through the darkness.

He woke up in a cold sweat, he looked down to make sure that Link was still with him. The young hylian was still sleeping peacefully. Marth sighed with relief, "I won't let anyone take you." He said while kissing his forehead. He didn't have the slightest idea what the dream was about, all he knew was that he would have to protect Link with his life.
